Welcome to the official Brown Town Radio show's website. Your host, G-Lo, brings you the best music from established underground recording artists along with new, unknown, up and coming artists in the Latin Urban genre from all over the world. G-Lo's playlist includes Latin Hip Hop, Chicano Rap, Reggeaton and more.

Not only does the show highlight Latinos spitting out lyrics on the microphone, it provides exposure to Latin producers, engineers, writers. arrangers and others that work behind the scenes on an album. As long as your album has a Latino involved with it, send it our way. You will recieve much love from the Brown Town Radio familia. This is independent, commercial free, public radio at it's best.

The Brown Town Radio show airs every Saturday from 3pm - 6pm (PST) on public radio station KUCI 88.9fm. The station is located on the campus of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and broadcasts it's radio signal over the Orange County, CA airwaves and transmits the "live" webstream at www.kuci.org. You can also tune into the KUCI 88.9fm webstream on iTunes> Radio>Public>KUCI.

Here is a little something something about Orange County. According to the 2000 Census, Orange County, CA has a population of 787,978 Latinos. With all jokes aside, that number only represents "legal" residents. Located just south of Los Angeles, we are the home of the youngest Latin population in all of the Estados Unidos. Ok, maybe just my home town of Santa Ana has that honor but it's all good. Check this website often since we are always updating it in one way or another. As always, support Latin programming at your local public radio station.
